"On some of your styles, like the 'Highway' boots, the boot shaft leather seems to look soft and 'slouchy'. Do they all look like that?
We understand why you might think so. We do feature that style preference in our pictures because so many of our buyers prefer the 'slouchy' look and intentionally order their boots taller than they normally might, to get that effect. If you order your boots in your exact inseam length, while providing accurate leg measurements, they will be stand up tall (and stay up!) and look great.
"I found a style I really like but I'd like to add a strap and a buckle on the foot?" - "Can I get double straps on the top of a pair of 'Interstates'? - "Do you make double soles?" - "How about a pair of "Legion" boots in tan? Can you do that?"
The answer to all these questions is - YES! We are "custom boot makers." We take more measurements than any other boot maker anywhere, to give you a perfect fit and we can easily make changes on any boot style to make your boots "perfect" for you. Some extra items might cost you a bit more but certainly not a fortune. Think of it this way. If you can imagine it ... we can make it!
"I've noticed that the shape of the foot on some of your boots looks different than I'm used to seeing. Why is that?"
We make different boot styles on different boot lasts. (A last is the form the foot portion is made on.) Look closely at the different styles we offer and you will see that the foot areas on different styles do have different looks. As a true custom boot maker, we can make any style of boot on nearly any boot last. If you'd like a different shape of foot, let us know. We custom make your boots for you.
"I see that I'm responsible for any customs/import fees? What does that mean and how much will that cost me?"
Good question. Customs/import fees are a fee that your government imposes on the importation of goods from another country. We do not have any control over what fees you might have to pay. A good way to find out what those fees might be is to contact your government's customs or import agency, tell them what you are thinking of buying and ask them what the customs fee would be. Like all good civil servants, we're certain they'll be happy to help you out.
